Interpreting Services offered by U. S. Translation Company
include conventions, conferences, legal proceedings, briefings,
training,
and escort. U.S. Translation Company will consider Interpreters
with the following qualifications:
• A minimum
of 5 years professional interpreting experience.
(Outline work for the previous 5 years)

Fluency in the source language
•
Native in the target language
•
Proof of frequent travel to native country
(If not currently living there)
•
Current with social, political, cultural, vocabulary
and idiom changes
for your native country |
• Certification*
(There is no national U. S.
body providing accreditation for interpreters,
however, certification from an agency such as the
United Nations, State
and Federal Courts, various Federal and State agencies
and the Defense
Language Institute Foreign Language Center, Monterey,
CA or similar will
be accepted)

Degree from accredited school of higher education
•
